About me

blended family coach Charlotte Kamman MSc

My own path towards being a relationship coach started some years ago, as my former husband and I went to a therapist for marriage counselling. The work she did with us, really grabbed my interest. Although she did some really good work with us, I thought that there should be even better ways to help people. From 1998 onwards I studied and read a lot on the subject of relationships and spiritual development. I took courses in NLP and systemic work, I became a horse-whisperer (horses are ideal mirrors of your inner world), and I started helping people to clear their minds from limiting and destructive beliefs. I coach my clients mainly through the internet (e-mail, Skype, MSN Messenger) and phone. It makes me happy and grateful that I have helped clients from over the whole world.

Just as you, I am part of a blended family.

My daughter, my partner, my ex-husband are the principal people in my family system.

The complete family system consists of many more people:

my own parents, siblings and inlaws (iplus ex-partners and their new partners)
my ex-husband's parents, siblings, inlaws and new partner (plus children)
and my partner's children, parents, siblings, inlaws and ex-partner (plus new partner & children).

I have learned a lot from all of them, sometimes because we get on very well, and oftentimes I learned even more from difficult situations. There are people who are not in my family system anymore, like the ex-boyfriend who was my partner for a year after my marriage broke up, including his ex-wife and his children. I learned a lot from these relationships too, and I make use of examples from my coaching practice and from my own private experiences. I feel that I owe gratitude to all these people from past and present for all the lessons they have taught me and still teach me everyday.
